U.B. is the main protagonist of the U.B. Funkeys game, acting as a representation of the player in the game.
Appearance[]
Funkeystown[]
Standard U.B. has a simple design composed of three colors: white, grey, and black. U.B.'s entire body is white, with a grey circle on the chest that has a lowercase "f" in the middle. U.B.'s face is made up of a large grey circle that contains two big, black eyes with white pupils.
A hub variant exclusive to Limited Too was also released, replacing U.B.'s white color scheme with pink.
Speed Racer[]
Speed Racer U.B. has a thick blue stripe and thin black stripe side-by-side on the left side of its body. U.B. also wears visor glasses, and has the 'f' symbol on its head instead of its chest. This design is reminiscent of 'Speed Racer', the main character of the titular series.
Dream States[]
Dream States U.B. is given a purple swirl, mist design on its body, and on the side of its face. Furthermore, a purple ring is added around the grey circle on U.B.s face. This is meant to be reminiscent of the mist shown in the cutscenes that take place in DayDream Oasis and Nightmare Rift.
Two variants of the Dream States U.B. hub were released: a Toys R Us exclusive pink swirl, and an Argos exclusive black swirl (available only in the European Union).
Hidden Realm[]
Hidden Realm U.B. has a bambo-like design on its chest, and a red circle with the 'f' symbol instead of the typical grey one. Furthermore, U.B. also has two red dragons on each side of its face.
Functionality[]
U.B. acts as the USB hub for U.B. Funkeys, serving as the connector between Funkey figurines and the game itself. As such, U.B. is significantly larger than other Funkeys and has an opening at the back of their head to insert Funkeys. When a Funkey figure is inserted, U.B. (the player) is replaced by that Funkey. Every U.B. Funkeys starter pack comes with some variation of U.B., as the game cannot be played without the hub.
Character[]
U.B. is a silent protagonist with little information given regarding them, mainly due to the fact that they are meant to represent the player. As such, U.B. is said to be genderless. U.B. is also a unique Funkey in that they can essentially become any other species.

Trivia[]
- Although different versions of U.B. exist, the same, standard version of U.B. will always appear in-game regardless of what variant is used.
- Ironically, even though U.B. appears as themself in all cutscenes, they are theoretically the least used Funkey in the game since they receive no special privileges or exclusive area access.
